Yes capt i have a regular motor, but for 4s i suppose 2600 Kv is ok, 2600*14.8=38480 Rpm, the gearin is the smallest i have my smallest pinion is 12 and the kyosho spur is 44.
I have a 1940/8, but 1960 Kv is not too slow for 4S???
1960*14.8= 29000 Rpm

I run a 1950 7T on 4s which is 1867x14.8=27631 .. I havent acutally ran my lightning yet, but when i ran this motor on 14 cells it was acutally fast, and it didnt get hot, barely warm.

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL
