Well, like I asked/said earlier;

With the 8XL it should take longer before the batteries are empty.. what charger are you using? can you see how much mAh you pushed in them?

and did you drove it since the last time with fresh charged cells. And what brand of cells are you using?

I am not a fan of FD, and i have got several grounded reasons for it.

But i am not stopping you to buy from him. If you think a 6XL will give you more runtime than an 8XL, then go ahead..

But before i can help you further, i need to know what batteries it are you are using and what charger, and if you can see how many mAh you put in them during charging..

You said you left them for 2 days before you used them; nimh cells have got a fair self-discharge.
