I was thinking about the ice, but it also needs a power supply which will then be another $60. It also can only charge 10 cells I think, so I would have to charge 1 battery at a time.

I think the 989 is a nice charger for the money and specs.

Then that is the charger I'll probably go with then. Will I be able to charge two batteries at once using a "Y" harness?

how does the y harnes work? and how would u hook up the ballencer to 2 packs?

id use to max amps 8k mah packs with the hyperion ballencer

The Y harness is one set of dean that is just wired so there will be 2 deans sets on the other side. The charger just has to be capable of chargering that many cells. I am not so sure about the balancer though.

Im not sure about the wiring of the balancers.. maybe metalman can scope in on this, or just ask mike or austin to make you one.
