If i do a conversion I will more than likely have Mike machine me a mount. I know the machined mount would be better, but would a homemade one be worth it?

BrianG, if I do the conversion I would take my time and do it right the first time. BTW your hyper 8 looks really nice!

Depends on how complex it is. If it's just an angled piece, it should be realtively easy to make. You just really have to make sure the mesh is perfect. But having Mike machine something that's perfect is definitely a step in the right direction as he does very good precise work.
