New MGM's? - 03.04.2007, 08:44 PM

Hey guys, was checkin out the controller section and i see these new "traditional" style controllers. Im liking the looks of the MGM 160/16 for my application (4s, 1950/7t). I would go ahead and buy it since it has a nice look to it, but the customer service ive heard is not that great. If anyone could shine some light on this it would be awesome. I was thinking of using my MM but i may take this MGM controller if it is good enough.

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

I had success using the MGM 80 with a Lehner 4200 Basic in a 1/10th ST for a year or so. I then sold it, but never had any problems. My only compaint is that the design of it isn't ideal for all applications, however it was perfect for mine. Never even broke a sweat and I didn't have to use a fan. Then again, I was running a motor pulling 50 amps on an 80 amp controller.
