Thanks for the welcome. I've been a lurker for awhile. Some have probably seen my video work with sleebus.jones on youtube.
As for the XL, I was more worried about the length of the motor can. From looks at the pics, that rear support rod looks like it may be a little too close for comfort when a longer can motor is dropped in there. |

an XL is 14mm longer then the 1512.
