bshelton- You have a nic ride yourself. How do you like those RPM wheels. Are they well balanced? I like the look of them and may have to try them out next time I need a set.

I see you are running a Novak 5.5. I had one of those systems with the sintered rotor in my truck for a while then switched it out for the Mamba 5700. With the 3s lipo, I normally run 14/82 with a Robison pinion and a Losi kevlar spur. This gearing comobo keeps my temps down around 180 when running on the street. I can bump it up to 17/82 when running my 6 cell IB4200 pack and still keep the temps under control. Because I am lazy, I normally don't change the gearing when switching from NIMH to Lip. So the truck is usally geared 14/82. I am sure that I will have to adjust this once summer gets here and the ambiant temps begin to rise.

Scoob- I agree with not being able to run the 3s offroad. I tried it a couple of times and could never even get past 1/4 throttle. I like to use a 6 cell packs for offroad duty. To tell the truth, the 5700 with a 6 cell on hard pack is still a handfull to control.
