I've got parts on the way to convert to CVD's with 17mm hexes, 22deg caster blocks with buggy upper a-arms, mugen steering links, doubled ackerman plate, and a milled front chassis brace. It wasn't a lot of $, but from what I've read, the 22deg caster blocks and buggy arms are the biggest help on the steering.

off-set wheels decrease steering.
i would be scared to buy an lsp-r, i read on an other forum that there gonna discontinue them soon and all the spare's aswell.

Using the crt suspension setup alloys for more steering throw. So when using normal offset wheels the wheels can hit the arms thats why they say use the wide offset or you can notch the arm.
