Pretty much anything can be converted really. Some of it is a little creativity, some of it is how willing you are to do a little fabbing. Mike (site owner) has several center differential mounts/motor mounts he's made for various people here (myself included).

Sometimes, there are some "obstacles" where you have to do a little thinking to overcome them. For instance, I'm converting a CRT .5 truggy and am having trouble with the center diff. It's just a matter of finding the perfect thing that will work.

Basically, first strip the buggy of all Nitro parts. Then, see how much room you have for batteries, motor, ESC, UBEC, receiver, etc. Don't forget than buggies can be somewhat limited in room height-wise, especially on the sides and front where the body sits kinda low. Most buggies are VERY similar and there are quite a few people here that have already done some. I've done an Ofna Hyper 8 buggy (go to the last several pages) and am quite pleased with it.
