BrianG, I just really noticed this... what is the number in your avatar? :032:

Lol. I was wondering when someone was going to ask that. OK, it's kinda geeky, but it's HEX code for "RCMonster". Just break up the string into 9 seperate two character sets. You can use Windows "charmap" application to verify.

Serum, you were sorta close - you recognized it as Hex. I was going to use binary, but since each character needs 8 bits, the string would have been too long. :)

the strap he is using can be bought at home depot. I belief he is using the medium one. just go to homedepot.com and search for husky strap.

Sure looks like it to me judging by the search results.

First off, the husky hangalls strap did come with a hook and extra material to attach it, I just carefully cut the uneeded material off.

Ok, I got the mount today!:017: Mike even included the nice tag on the package too!

ATTENTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MIKE'S MOTOR MOUNT WILL NOT FIT NEU FINNED CAN MOTORS WITH OUT MODIFYING IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just thought I'd let everyone know, heres why:

Because of the fins on the motor, it is to wide to line up with the mounting holes; nothing a dremel cant fix. Also the rear support doesn't really fit either, though the motor rests on the bottom of the mount so you don't really need it anyway...

Fixed it with a little help from Mr. Dremel...

It's complete!:

I ran it today, auto shifting with an electric is cool!; there is no lag at all like with a nitro, no drop in rpm's. Also what CD oil should I run? I have 120,000 ofna stuff in there now, and it just unloads the front tires like crazy and acceleration suffers because of it...

Bye:018:

Thanks! I am running a 38 tooth spur, going to get a 36 tooth spur tomorrow though. The temps are great on this setup, 20min+ driving and every thing is cool, not even warm.:028:

Bye:018:
