Need pics of E Rustler chassis. - 04.06.2007, 01:49 PM

How did all of you set this thing up. I noticed that there is no where to put all the electronics or the battery.

Besides for the chassis being way stronger, you can mount everything where ever you want. The most common and easiest set up seems to be the ESC in front of the rear shock tower, and the reciever on top of the steering servo on teh plastic cover. Then the battery right smack in the middle. You can use these to keep the battery in place:

Sorry I don't have any pics.

This is how I have mine set up. 3S lipo, Feigao 9L, BK7020.

Sorry I don't have any better pictures of the Battery holder I made. Its just a piece of lexan bent at the ends and screwed down to the chassis with a couple threaded holes and a couple velcro ties holding it down.

Set up almost identical to RC's description.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
