Am I Dumb

well i wish i still had the emaxx trans but i was dumb and sold it on ebay because i needed money for my clod project (which sucks). but this is what i wanted to substitute, flm alum tranny case, rc-monster alum. diff, one peice steel diff locker i found on ebay, and the steel idler gear. The transmission mounted up pretty easy and i used the halfshafts from my old emaxx as driveshafts. I have the newest version of the pede with the revo slipper so i was hoping that would workout in my hv maxx project. Any info on do's and dont's?
