Now now, let's not be too hard on the guy. He did order the heatsink after all. Most people realize FD service is not the best after the sale is made.

whoa i guess that was a huge no no.:032: the only reason i went through FD is because mike didn't have any in stock plus i wanted the blue motor. i did get the heatsink from him and will continue to support his business cause im sure this thing will get some upgrades.:027: i wanted to finnish up the truck as soon as possible so i went with the next source which happened to be FD. No offense to mike i have heard so many great things about him but i made a mistake and went with the compitition.:002: pleaze forgive me and don't hold it against me or the build. PS i got the wheelie bar nearly finnished..

you know that if you did not get that clamp from Mile the endbell would fall off right? The real problem with fine design is the customer service is not that great after the sale and he does not put truthful specs up about those engines. He is in it for the money and after the sale you are out of luck just go to www.lstforums.com and look under the conversions page. That is all of the proof you will need.(look at the page by finedesign lst2 and you will know what I am talking about)

Guys, I understand supporting Mike, but when he's out of stock on a particular motor and someone wants it quickly, what would you do? The 540 XL motors are hard to find online and there only a handful of resellers of them. So what exactly do you suggest doing in Looneybin's situation? What happens when FD is the only online retailer with that particular motor in stock?

I agree. I'm just as loyal to Mike as the next guy and will try to get whatever I need through him, but if he doesn't have an item in stock (and it is unknown when the part will be available), I'll order elsewhere too. Of course, this is a last resort if I can't wait. I'm sure, being a businessman, he understands.

I have not got to purchase anything from Mike yet but I know that he works very hard to be the man. I have him working on something special for me at the moment! Sometimes it's hard to stay loyal in situations like that but I am sure Mike will have a solution as soon as possible that is what makes him the man!

well i finnished up the wheelie bar and got some shots with the savage body on it. i'll get some better pics later. the wheelie bar turned out killer, and yea those are element skateboard wheels on the bar. they have real bearings and look pretty cool. now i just need to get some new ones after i get it all prettied up.

aight well i have the money for lipos so which ones? many have recomended trakpowers so that is what i will prolly go with. Where do i get them from? and also do they come in 4s or do i have to get two 2s and wire them in parallel? and can i charge them at once or do i need to charge each pack? i really want one pack so i don't have to worry about two seperate packs being the same and twice the risk. and will two 6cell 4400 nimhs from max-amps power the revo for just bashing around? sorry bout all the questions but i will definitly repay the info once i get-er-runnin. thanks again.
