Is that a metal gear?

Do these come with the plastic gear we saw in earlier pictures or the metal one I see in the picture? I prefer the metal.

What tooth gear is it and do you have other gears with different amount of teeth coming too?

The outdrives in the picture don't have flat spots for brake discs to seat on. Are we supposed to use the original outdrives from our particular kits for construction?

Super Cool!

Sweet Mike!!! I see one of those going into my RC8T immediately! Any release dates yet?

Also, what is the possibility of getting outdrives with the flats to accommodate brake disks for those of us that still like to use the ancient technology of mechanical brakes?

If I counted correctly, that's a 46T in the pic.

Dang... you beat me to the flat spot question.

Yes metal gear on this and they come with 46T from what Mike told me. There will be a 50T optional gear available as well.

Thanks guys.

I am also wondering about the spyder gears. Since I don't see any, I assume we are supposed to use the parts from our original diff unit. Does this still function as a normal diff, with diff fluids?

Looks great!

My understanding is that it is a complete unit. Gears, outdrives and all. Nothing to add of your own except the diff fluid of your choice.

Thanks for the info/update MM. We are all looking forward to the pricing and release of your newest project. Any luck with producing the E-Maxx center diff mount as discussed in December??
