Just for future info next time you need bearing try going on line to VBX bearings. I found them a while back and ordered up some spares, because the price was way lower than most others and they have steel sealed bearings pretty cheap. After I received them I was very pleased with their service, their prives and the quality of their products, so I ended up purchasing more spares and they threw in a digital caliper for $10, which I now use all the time. I purchased like 200 bearings from them within a month to build up my stocks for my various projects and saved a lot of money. I also found out that VBX supplies a lot of the R/C companies with their bearings. The bearings are great and the price is right. So check them out if you need any more bearings. Good luck with that.

I checked the bearing size in the 1512 today and it seems to be 5 x 10 not the 5 x 13 in your 1515. I am ordering some for mine to.

DONT ORDER ANY BEARINGS YET !!!!!

they arent regular bearings they have a flange on them like the losi center diff bearings NOT the regular clutch style bearing......i got called TKO tomorrow and see if i can swap these 4 out for four correct ones.....

this sucks cant run the xray this weekend. oh well lesson learned, i should have pulled them out BEFORE i ordered replacements.

anybody wanna help me find some 5x13x4 Flanged type bearings? I already talked with TKO they were more than helpful to exchange these for some 5x10s i can use in my feaigo, great customer service but sadly they dont make a 5x13 flanged bearing....so i gotta search else where.

i was looking at getting the ultra seal ones, but still thats $30 for two freakin bearings, hell the TKO bearings were less than $4 each these are stupid expensive.

just make sure they will handle 60,000 rpm's or you will be replacing them often. but you got to think that is a 260.00 motor that you are putting $4.00 bearings in.
Just my 10 cents. You can pay now or really pay for it in the in. I guess the main thing is that they can handle 60,000 rpm's in the end and you should be able to find some for around 30.00 total, Its your motor.

yea but a $260 motor shouldnt go through bearings every couple months, itd cost more in bearings in one year than a new motor would cost at my rate.....

im looking for a sealed bearing.

since my motor will never exceed 33-34k rpm is the 60k rpm bearing nessecary? all of the cheaper bearings are abec1 which aint very great. but if i hsve to im looking at these because their sealed http://www.bocabearings.com/main1.as...6&n=SMF695-2RS , im also looking at these http://www.bocabearings.com/main1.as...228&n=MF695-UU because after research the ultra seal bearings are supposed to work very well.

what would you chose, its extremely sandy and ultra fine dust....

Bearing Info. - 11.07.2008, 03:53 AM

Try checking this site out. www.vxb.com. I found that they seem to carry most R/C bearings, and they may have what you need for a fare price.

only ones i could find at vbx were just a sheilded set of 10 for $40 i dont really need 10 and they dont have the exact specs on materials and such so i dunno how well they hold up.

Damn, oh well already ordered them. 2 of the TKO bearings were only $6, pretty common size so might be able to sell them. Luckly Mugen, GS, JR all sell 5 x 10mm flanged bearings so should still be easy to get bearings for the 1512
