Did you notice that it says to use a smaller pinion whether undergeared or overgeared?

Also, was it a coincidence that there were four MA packs next to the section about puffing? :-)

General rule of brushless gearing
Hot motor, Cool controller, cool batteries = Undergeared i.e. increase pinion size
Cool motor, Hot controller, hot batteries = Overgeared i.e. decrease pinion size
Warm motor, warm controller, warm batteries = happy components

Just an FYI on the Tekno conversion they reviewed, it was actually a 1515 1.5 Y, not a 1.5 D they were running. Lol, a 1.5D on that 6s 35c FullyMax pack would be a little much
