Yep, the Jammin is a great basher and darn good racer! I've had some success on the track with mine. And it flies great! Especially on a cardboard ramp, it flies clean over streets and into fences.... lol well at least mine did at linc's shop!

You might want to look into the 2.0 upgrades, makes it even better...

I think the problem comes in when we can't bump it up. I realize its not a For sale section. But most people don't look far back so they may miss a FS thread.
I think the problem on RCtech is that people are looking for other makes like Losi....

I'll verify that. He offered it to me to help my B'in Law with his ever troublesome E-maxx. I thought it was a fair price - but at the time it was still more than my B'in Law had to spend. I didnt see how much you officially put it for sale for, but I'm sure it wasn't much different that the price you told me.

Just a random thought here. I've always been frustrated with the pricing we typically see on used RC stuff. On one hand I think the typical age group that we have in the hobby doesnt have enough real life experience to understand depreciation, and that same age group jumps on used equipment just because they can save 10-20% over new. This keeps the used values somewhat higher than they really should be.

Losi 8T 1.0, Savage Flux - XL style, LST XXL, Muggy, 3.3 E-Revo Conversion and sitting outside 425hp, 831 Tq Dodge Ram Turbo Diesel. It SMOKES

I have to agree with that as well. Some items just about sell for what it costs new with a good coupon code from Tower. I just don't understand why people pay that much for some used items.

On the other hand, as a seller, it's frustrating knowing that you're sitting on a vehicle that was in the $4-500 range new, has over $100 in upgrade parts on it and an electric conversion kit and it's getting offers on rctech of less than $100 shipped. I have to believe that some of the things going on in the used market right now are based on the economic situation.

I think the economic situation is hurting a bunch of people right now. Its just not a good time to be selling big items like rollers and RTR's. I still see people buying up used servo, used lipo's, used parts... all under $100 items. But when it comes to big ticket items, unless they are a deal, they sit a couple days before the price gets cut or someone actually has money.
