Sounds like I have a kv picked then. Last thing, what else do I need for getting the Tekin installed? I think all I need is some 12 gage wire, heat shrink, and connectors. I'm going to do a direct connect because I'm not certain where the ESC will be placed until I do some testing.

I assume the motor attaches fine. The Tekin site doesn't give any mounting dimensions for the end cap, but I assume it's the same as the CC motor.

Are none of you worried about motor overheating due to being underworked?

Seems like it could be an issue for extended intervals at crawl speed, I dunno.

What do you guys think, are there issues with BL other than cogging in a semi-crawler setup?

Just curious here....

Did you find any thing that worked well for this?

One of the smoothest systems I have found is a quark with neu 1512 2.5d 2000 kv motor.

Peace!

I got the 2250kv Tekin system. It works very well. Unfortunately, the motor only lasted 3 battery packs before dying. I just received a new motor a few days ago. I really hope this one lasts.

I'm looking into a MMM or Tekin solution for my Summit, how did the new motor work out for you? In addition to that please share the details on how you waterproofed it (referring to earlier post)

The Tekin is working great. They replaced my motor quickly, so no problems there.

Here's my first attempt at waterproofing:

Here's the unfortunate results:

Here's my latest attempt:

My current method is working fine so far.
