Iphone 3g is only about 99 usd plus cant be more than 10.99 for the sofware right? and come on im sure that if you were going to use your phone or ipod you wouldnt just tape it too the lid, as long as its safely secured under the body it should be pretty safe. I was also just giving ideas. I use the speed calc on my phone all the time.

Castle Creations can make a iphone/itouch cable that plugs into the bottom of the iphone/itouch. When you buy the cable it could give you a code to download the software from the apple store. I would buy it for sure!!!!

Yeah, their should be a R/C tailored 'dyno' app on the iPod-T/iPhone... a friend of mine has the dyno app. and I must say it is pretty neat, just enter vehicle weight and you are off! Tells 0-60 times, your HP (but not torque obviously), 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile, 0-30feet, 0-60feet, etc.
