4600 is a perfect motor for the hpi blitz.. why would you want more? 2s lipo geared right is sick. Tweak w/ the settings if your temps are up a bit and make sure your gear mesh is good. The velineon is a stronger motor and will also do better than fine in this setup. The castle 5700 is ok but no better off than you are now... the 6900 and 7700 are meant for touring cars not offroading expecially racing on a track. I've been running the Medusa 50mm 4800kv on a 2s lipo all summer long... more than enough, I have everything turned down to MIN settings.

I've been looking through various manufacturer's motor specs, and they typically list something around 50,000 max RPM for the ROAR legal motors. 17.5 typically has a kv of 2200, which yields ~35,000 RPM on 4s. Perfect IMO. And besides, they use the same construction to make 3.5t motors, which are ~10,500 RPM/volt, which is over 70k RPM on 2s!

Yeah, the 17.5 in my SC10 runs great on 2s geared for 28mph. Its super strong on the track and very quick out the hole. I'm sure 4s on this motor would really wake it up, geared appropriately. I'll have a MMPro coming in, might have to try it.
