I like to know how you supposed to wire up to battery packs with 4 inches of wire. It would be really hard to do.

I have MIP CVD, steel idler gear otherwise stock. Those are the next upgrades after getting nice batteries.

I have a 12020 BK also...

you might wont to think diffs in the near future the stock diffs dont hold up real well to bl power. also if money allows a new stronger chassie would be a good thing if you bash your truck pretty hard. ive read that the stock chassie is pretty week, but im no expert on emaxxs so.

Next time I will first solder a short peice of deans battery wire to the connector . Soldering the two thicker controller wires to the deans wire would be easier.

Just rec'd a 12020 BK controller. Looks the same as the original post in this thread, but my 2 positive and 2 negative wires are on the same side (rather than opposite sides like the original post). Do I wire it the same as the original post?

WEll if you wire it like you have in pic just not the red and black wire to different sides yeah. You had it wired right just the factory didn't.

If they screw up the simple stuff like wire colors, it makes you wonder what else they screwed up on.
