I've neglected this thread a little... so here a big update ;)

Batteries last around 30 minutes to an hour... depending on how i drive it :P i usually do 10 minute stints... as i spend more time chatting and tinkering with other peoples cars than bashing :P

Out with the old and in with the new..

Clone shocks replaced with Baja SC shocks, running 40wt in the front, 15wt in the rear... Medium springs on the front, softs on the rear. I'm gonna try these out, see how it sits... the mediums might be going back on :P may even buy a full set of hards to try as well!

Orange Silverback beadlocks are off, Gunmetal Beadlocks with Monkey nuts ready to go on :)

Old wing gone... New wing with TGN Pins ready to go on :)

Bye Bye to the Rear RPM's, dont trust them after breaking on at the bmx track... Ramtech arms now installed and they look sweet :D

New servo saver setup, Darksoul Saver and Threshold spring support

Front end Photos, Showing the new innovative bits along with the new shocks, TR shock brace, RPM arms, Innovative Hinge Pins, Marks Beefy turnbuckles, Axle Extenders, Limiting Straps, shock socks, Monkey nuts, RPM front bumper, Innovative underchassis brace, TR upper front chassis plate, Scorpion Shorty Chassis

Servo saver installed (excuse the messy wiring, i need to get a new receiver box as my last one was butchered by the previous owner... )

Rear end photos, showing Tripple A Racing High down force wing, RPM arms, Ramtech-RC Upper arms, Marks Beefy 9mm Dogbones, Hostile Axle Boots, Darksoul axle Tubes (hidden ;)) axle extenders, oh and i had to modify the gear cover to fit the pinion... it seems it is too wide for the stock cover... as it rubs, and i cant turn the pinion over as it goes too far into the mount... not that this should be a problem... some dust may get in but the gap is too small for stones to fit :)

My rear window, extends right down to the bottom of the roll cage, full protection from the elements for the esc :)

And finally, some overview pictures:

New Rear wheels and beadlocks, same ole Mini MX tires on the back

Just waiting on my front Hostile Mini MX tires.. then it will be done... for now!
oh and two final pictures for those interested in "No Spark" connections,

Esc side, a male 4mm bullet connected to the 22watt 1 ohm resistor, then connected to the male 8mm bullet via some 20awg wire.

Battery side, each battery has a female 4mm bullet, connected via 20awg wire to the female 8mm bullet

Future plans:

New Decal set, Going for a Castle Creations theme... I am a fanboy after all ;)

Slipper Clutch setup will be ordered when i have the spare funds,

Front break disks will also be ordered when i have the funds, along with uber front extenders

I'm looking to get a new rear chassis plate and a Rhino undertray in the very near future... but I'm not sure what chassis plate to go for... Innovative or Modified RC?

Team chase towers will be purchased at some point,

Hostile Heavy duty rear hubs will be ordered when the stocks give up the ghost...

other than that... repair and upgrade what breaks from now on :D

Any Questions? Comments? Dislikes? Post them up below!

It looks awesome, I'm glad you got rid of the orange.

I would suggest not getting the slipper. The power of the brushless motor will just eat it up. If you need smoother starts mess with the esc software, punch control and current limiting.

My e5b thread- http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/show...ght=e5b+thread

ahh right,

Issue is... its not strictly a slipper... it doesnt slip under acceleration... its designed more to absorb the shock of landing jumps... surely this is a very very good thing when running direct drive (no clutch)

Your thread looks good :) got any video of it?
