thanks sylvester, the xl is the same price as a L motor. and for me i would want an Xl for nice run times, and way batter temps.

Great List Jagboy! Especially for a new guy. Can you take a minute and anwer a couple futher questions on set up-
How do you match controller, batteries and motor using those numbers?
What mechanically does "turns" mean? (I realize a 8 turn is faster on fewer cells than a 10, but why)
Those two answers would make everything I am reading clear! Thanks!

The Wanderer XL range is the best value by far. I love my 7XL so much although runtimes are abit poor on high cell counts. Going to try the GP4300s or IB4200s soon.

Get the IB4200's, the gp4300's have garbage voltage. And for 100mah more, i dont think that they will make that much of a difference. Ive used the 4200's for a long time, no flaws, even though i only got 12 runs because of user fault! Doh! ;)

Serum: No, I didn't see the edit; thanks. I was actually thinking about giving specific cell counts to each motor. It will take a while, but I think it will be a good addition to the chart.

Nick: Good idea. I'll spend some time on that as well.

damon: High quality sub c cells will be able to power basically all of the motors listed. High quality being cells like GP3700, IB3800, IB4200, etc. LiPo packs will be even better as long as they can deliver the current. Just make sure you know what you are doing when you go with lithium cells. As far as motor/controller setups, that's a bit tougher. Feigao does have a list of max amp draws of all of their motors. This is a good starting place when you start making different setups. Here's the link: http://www.feigao.com/sdp/85838/4/cp-102738.html. Keep in mind that those are max currents. Check out the ESC manufacturer's ratings to make sure that the ESC can take the currents. Also, if your budget can take it, it never hurts to overshoot your needs. The beefier the controller, the more room it takes up, but the more electricity it can handle.
Turns is a bit harder to explain. It has to do with the amount of times a wire is wrapped around in a coil. If someone else could elaborate, that would be great. It really threw me for a loop when I opened up my 380C 6t can to find a great mass of wires glued to the inside.

leroy you dont follow that chart to well you put 22 series in maxx and that aint even on the list
