I have a spool in the front and rear of my emaxx. But I like low speed crawling and light bashing. It definitely has a serious effect on handling at speed and on drivetrain. If you like high speed in the street, forget it. If you like low speed obstacle course action go for it. Just be prepared to fix some drivetrain parts after a run or two.

I have broken 4 of the 3.3 outboard shafts and 2 of the Revo center shafts. Not to mention all the stock parts. :027:

spool the rear for low speed dirt ONLY or both for crawling but spool and street should no be in the same sentence!

Yeah, I have a spool in the front and rear and it is almost uncontrollable in the street.
