I am about 45 minutes from there. My brother drag races his car there about once a month. I just may have to go next year. I didn't know that they were having it this year or I probably would have gone.

I would have loved to have gone to speed challange. But with me living in PA there is no way I could get to CA. I wish they would move the event to the east coast one year.

Thank you,

Johnnymaxxima, If you live that close you need to go next year. That twin engine truck of yours should fly. 70 mph plus should not be a problem with the power your making.
Just need to put the time in to make it run the number.

Thank you,

I agree, they should give everyone a shot by having the races at different locations. Lots of people out there with fast r/c but not everyone can afford to travel.

I saw some Phatline tires in person, and somehow the rubbers in your pic look much wider. Phatlines are very narrow. I got the impression the ones in your pic must be something else... but looks can deceive. Don't take my word for it.

You know what it is Dafni, I took the above pic off the magazine with my camera. The actual picture in the magazine does show the tires as quite a bit narrower. Somehow got stretched when downloaded. Interesting.

All the stores around here were saying late Oct. for release. Now they have pushed it back to mid November. Just waiting on these so I can finally do some top speed runs on my dually.
