Is that a 7xl or an 8xl motor?

What dia. are the shocks? They look the same as my supershocks.
7xl

They are larger in dia. and the rears are much longer. The mounting hole on the shock cap is also larger than stock just like the UE shocks.

Thanks I'm going to be working on a race video of my Gmaxx and my friends brushless Savage. Hopefully I can get it done before winter sets in.

I'm guessing they are 13mm vs the Ofna/UE Supershocks which are 12mm (If I remember correctly)

Over 80* here in Southern California the past couple of days. Crazy indeed. Supposed to be quite cooler today though.
Very nice truck smhertzog, I'd say you have a buck or two wrapped up in that thing.

Very nice job Smertz! Winter is coming very slow here in MN too. Very very little smow and has been in the mid 30's....keeps the BL nice and cool though! LOL

So, do the X1-CRT shocks mount up without any mods? If they dont, what did you have to do to make it work? Also, what weight of shock oil are you running? Is it heavier because only four shocks are supporting the weight instead of eight?

Youll need

Jammin (Ofna) Bigbore shocks one pair of fronts and one pair of backs
Jammin x1 crt shock ball posts
Unlimited Engineering Knucklehead towers or FLM

70 front 60 back...yep

You could also use mutilator shocks. They are about the same size as the traxxas big bores.
