Evan, I was not able to pull full throttle due to lack of traction. I was over half throttle, though and had to let off in an attempt to keep it fairly straight.
Norbert,
I was using a Lehner basicxl 2400 motor and 18.5 volt (5s) LiPo batteries. What driveshaft are you breaking? A wheel shaft (diff to wheel)? I was actually using the stock plastic sliders on the e-maxx we are speaking of. My truck is just under 8 pounds RTR, though.

I am constantly breaking the MIP front drive shaft from the transmission to the front diff. I tried using the plastic ones and I snapped them on the first run. Start to twist a little but snapped and the base where it connects to the yoke.

I use steel dogbones in the center. For the front, the Monster Pirate front center dogbone works.

Probably any front 1/8 buggy center bone would be a close enough size to make it work. The Monster Pirate is a reworked 1/8 buggy from years ago.

hey Lou has the track running counter-clockwise now.
If the double on the straight is still in the same place you'll have 2/3 of the straight to build up steam. I wonder where it will touch down now?:-)

If there is less pitch on the jump, I am quite sure I can land in the pits!

I accidentally took out a lightbulb tonight with the gmaxx. HotnCold and I both put on a little show with brushless LiPo power and we have a little video as well. It should show up in the video vault in the next day or so.

First off - welcome to the site - I have yet to start my Revo yet - so the noise you are hearing is new to me - however - there are a lot of people who are at work now - so later on in the day - im sure you will get an answer for this Question...
