Very true! I'm not knocking them, just saying that everything has it's breaking point sometime or another realistically. But the FLM are definately durable. Best bang for the buck!

has anybody you know broken the shock tower of the chassis? Just curious

I don't. Maybe cuz they are connected to the bulks and not the chassis though! :005: But seriously, no, not personally.

they are pretty light really... they are huge!!

heres the stock weight.


flm..


and with the towers you can run some big dog ultra long stroke shocks!!

They are a bit heavier.. but DAMN, those are nice! I doubt the weight will really affect anything.


The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

@revo - Can you check how thick they are in mm? I was just wondering...

well.... my my jammin fte has 5.2mm towers, and the flm are quite a bit thicker. they measure 3/8th inch exactly. the 5.2mm measure less than a quarter in. i have nothing to measure mm..... not sure of the conversion? im guessing 9mm ish....:028:

at least double that!! they are the beefyest towers ive ever seen!

Well i dont know, my motor mount for my LSP looks similar maybe thinker and only measures 5.8mm narrowed down. Either way, its THICK!

I measure mine at 9mm. It could be give or take a few with a caliper.

Wow! Sorry i must have been waaayy off with my caliper! My lsp motor mount is 9.5mm thick! But my inner depth is a little smaller so it is easier to mount pinions.
