Yeah... that kinda happened to me twice in the 20 min main yesterday. Once I was in a wreck and the guy grabbed my car and started off the track with it. Also I came in for a "pit" and another guy started to do the same thing...

We are working on a pro level 1/8 BL system including motor. No time line for release yet. For now we are just showing off our new rides.... and learning exactly what it takes to get it done.

Sower, we are planning to run the Truggy and Buggy at the CDB trophy race. in Boise. We will also be running the R1 and redline motors in the 1/10 classes.

Nice - that's this coming weekend isn't it? I'd have my truggy running too if I had a speed control. I'll have to come down and check it out!

Hey, Prez, I think Rx8 does seem better than R1MT.

Rx8 simply reminds me of the Mazda Rx8...

Instead of calling it R1MT( Monster Truck exclusive), Rx8 is more generalized for all 8th scale rigs which need hi-voltage and currents.

If someone starts walking over with the intent to flip it, I just goose the throttle a little. The fact that there is tire movement with no mosquite-on-steroids sound should clue in all but the most braindead nitro users. : )

Very glad there is progress being made...regarding the name, when I see "RX" I think it's a receiver. Perhaps just "R8" or "R/8" or "R8 Pro". This way it's consistent with your 1/10th "R1" series controllers.

Either way, the name doesn't matter to me, all that matters is that I want to buy one soon...

Are you going to let us see the controller anytime, soon?

It would be really neat if TeamTekin made an ESC called the Rx8 that would be used in a Mazda Rx8 conversion.

I second that about doing the legal homework on the name "rx8", it would be a shame to release the ESC and instantly have to take it back off due to name advertising problems. And I also think of receiver when I see rx, just my .02 cents though. I like R8 Pro & R8MT.

How about you give us some input on the esc?

How did it perform in your truck and buggy?

Any specs?
