So does anyone else have any updates on the MMM release? I keep hoping to see something else posted telling me that it will hit shelves before Christmas.

Not likely! Early 08 is the last I have heard, and I still won't hold my breath on that either!

I wonder if that means they have changed their minds and they won't be releasing just the first motor to start with? All three from launch would be sweet.

Castle is lagging and in the mean time N*vak is throwing money into 1/8th BL conversions... I love my castle stuff and they have great support, but I'm thinking if they don't step up the MMM they may never grow into the mainstream BL market.
And what about the torque limiting software? hhhhhhmmmmmmmfffffffffff time to go to bed and wait for tomarrow again :)
If I could only draw what I see in my head, then afford to build it, and finaly get to play with it...

I've heard mid-January, but that is likely to slip to late January. It appears that they are going to do ESC only 1st, and then motors to follow. The fellow I talked to said that date is more real than they've ever had, and that "major manufacturers" already have the system and are beta testing it. Apparently, there is no "consumer beta" like there was with the MM system...unless he was just blowing smoke up my skirt.
I laugh now because when I heard it would do 6S, I was completely stunned, what would I do with all that power? Now 6S is just kinda "meh", because I'd like to go higher, haha. I have seen there is a rumor of a HV MMM in the works, in the 12S range. Now THAT would be something I could get behind. However, I hope it's not going to be $400 or something crazy like that. Castle has always done a great job of holding costs down, I hope that doesn't change.

I doubt there will be a 12s MMM and if there was it would be at least $400

Hmm, interesting because I spoke with Tekin a week or so ago and they said they're roughly 12 weeks from being on the shelf. Too bad neither one will hit until after the new year - I'm sure a lot of people will be recovering from the Christmas hangover in regards to $$. Man, I'm just dying to get my XT8 set up!

Its a good thing that your avatar shows a dead horse being beaten. I can imagine PETA would be all over you if the horse was still living, or died due to the beating. Good thing this is a brushless rc forum, nobody really cares about animal cruelty here, or good taste either!

I won't say in here what I think PETA can do with themselves!
