I want a Revo roller for conversion, a dark impact for racing at the little track (2 hours away) tires for my XXXT and a couple for Neu motors. A cellshield liposaver and another CC BEC, a few 11.1v lipo packs for reciever batteries on the nitro cars and the MMM's for when I can convert them all. Would be nice if the z9100s servo I ordered over a month ago would show up...

I already got the puppy, 5 week old pit/lab mix, just like the one had before but female.

If I could only draw what I see in my head, then afford to build it, and finaly get to play with it...

I am looking to get my dad a welder. Any suggestions? My brother some camera stuff like lenses, etc. and i have no idea what to get for the rest of my family. Still thinking.

But for me... I am mainly hoping for some money, because nobody else in my family knows anything about rc cars, except for my brother, but he just got out of rc's. However, I'll definitely finish my Revo with this money and buy it a Neu 1515/1y, Hitec HS-5955TG servo, RCM hybrid diff cases and probably a lot mroe stuff.

I am very excited.

jnev, you propable should list some of the stuff he will use the welder for, so we could help you chose something to fit the application.

1/16" to 1/4" mild steel seems to be the most common building material. If this is the primary thing to be welded you'll want a mig (wire fed welder).

1/4" to 1/2" you'll want a stick welder.

1/16 and down or super nice quality welds (1/16 to 1/4") you'll want a tig (heli-arc). But they are expensive!!!

I would recomend a Lincoln or Miller welder, mig-tig-or stick.

If you get an economy mig welder just make sure you get a "gas kit" for it as the flux coated wire SUCKS!

I should have put a $3600 Miller Syncrowave 250DX on my wish list, hehehe.

12/12/2012 to be exact (ZPB do I have that right?) IIRC there are 4 events that mark the end of the Myan calander that are not found written anywhere else in what we have from them... freeeekkkkyyyy hehehe

I personally am a Christian and go with what Christ said "it is not for man to know the times the Father has apointed" and "the end will come like a theif in the night" that kind of thing. I must say however that my parents thought it nwould be in their time and so did my grand parents (cold war, nukes, that stuff) Anyone go with the Atomic Clock thinking?

Suppose a sweet christmas gift would be a few more people saved before the end :) or a few more years to enjoy my toys :)

I'm with you. If the end does come during my lifetime I will only wish that I am asleep, and most of all that it may be some time after I have lived a full life (say 90 or100 years old). No matter what the end is, or when it may come I am going to enjoy the life that I have left to the fullest extent that is humanly possible. I have seen much pain and suffering in my lifetime, and it took a long time for me to feel like I am finally free. No debt, nobody holding me back, and no contracts which prevent me from doing what I want to do. I am not rich by any means $$$$ wise, but my life is full, and everything is coming into play just the way that I have always hoped that it would.

So believe what you will about who, what, where, and why. Myans, Jews, Christians, Muslems, or whatever. We are all just HUMAN beings. War is all about jealousy. "I want what you have", and I doubt that this will ever change in the human existance. I for one am going to have some fun while I am still able to. My christmas list is growing every day, both in materialistic wise and for wishes of happiness for those that I love. My wife tells me that in reference to my list, I should know by now that I will probably get it all. Maybe not all at one time, but that I will be happy. That is all that I need to know. Life is good, but you have to find your own happiness in this world. I pray that we all find ours without hurting ourselves and/or each other along the way. Just be happy. That is the only thing that really matters.

On a lighter note, I'm getting my 6-year-old daughters these boats for Christmas.

Thanks for the help DrKnow65. I'll take a look at those welders you mentioned. My dad will only be doing small stuff... probably 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch, maybe more, maybe less.

I also forgot to mention that I would like some new tools as well.

That is a really nice machine for the price. For anything close to that in the big quality rigs you would easily pay thousands of $$$$$. For that kind of money you would only have to turn out a few pieces of RC hop-up gear for it to have paid for itself. Plus you can write it off as a business expense and later as a monitary loss. So it is totally worht the gamble. Plus I bet it would be a blast to play with making your own parts and customizing your own gear. Think of the possibiities???

i asked the wife for a nice soldering station, since my toys and their parts are a bit too specific for her to find on her own. after seeing that mill, i may throw that out for her. i can easily give her directions to harborfreight and that way i can have a gift under the tree instead of a gift card or budget.

Just print out exactly what you want from the internet adds, from the sites you want to do business with, and give them to her. If she shops on line for her girly stuff then she should be able to order them just like you would. With a copy of exactly what it is that you want anyone can do it. I ran off adds with photos, item #'s, and prices to make it easy. That way there is not questions about which one, or how many. She knows exactly what I would buy for myself. If the item is not in stock, then move on to the next item. Easy peezy Japaneasey.
