Well, I just tested it in my G2R. Solder connections are fine as well. It still cogs. MetalMan guessed fried phase from the evidence, and I agree...there's really no other explanation.

I went and got his spare MM from him, so I'll solder that up when I have a chance. I'm going to big bear on Sunday to film something for my Video Production class, and I think I'm gonna bring my CRT to do a bit of snow running.

No no...not the LMT, the Mamba Max is the problem. If I had the choice I'd take the MM as a problem any day...

A free replacement that takes about 2 weeks as compared to an expensive replacement that may take months (if its even possible).

Ohh, ok sorry for the dumb question lol....

I also have to send in my MM, It got fried when it was in my cyclone, and a dumb ace little kid ran over my cyclone with his bike, and it crushed the caps, and the heasink came off, its a big mess

I wasnt, I was running all by myself, and then a kid comes flying down the street, so I parked it in the curb, and he goes from the middle, over to my car and like jumps it.......

I dont know yet, im thinking the flat rate thing, a new one for 50 bucks....

Hmmm, as I learned when I was much much younger, little kids are attracted like magnets to moving or stationary R/Cs. If you see one (kid) coming, bring the truck back to you until the 'danger' has passed....

Yeah, that was my dumb mistake for not taking it to my side, but never once when I have ran my rc cars have I had this problem, usually the kids stand with, or behind me and watch.....

Wow he tried to jump it? If I were you I would have pulled out some bigger/stronger truck and crashed into him with it (I'm not serious here lol)

But yea, I just got one from MetalMan, so I'm good to go. I'll be sending my ESC to CC this Monday.

Well guys this was a touring car, not a truck, so I couldnt get up the curb if I wanted to lol when im right in front of it.... (we have the curved ones)

And he didnt try, he did unfortunately...... I wanted to go throw him off the bike, but I walked inside pissed off....... Probably better then throwing him off the bike lol

thats funny i had a similar incidence with an car i was driving and a car came so i pulled to the curb to let them go by but they kept heading straight for the car.

Just when the wheel was inches from the car i reacted and had to slam my 4wd buggy up a raised curb to avoid the car tyre rolling over my car.

From now on i do not trust any driver/rider and evade them myself as you cannot trust people as there stupidity could cost you a lot of time and money.

Nah...I would have taught the stupid kid a lesson.

chilledoutuk, I have heard of all kinds of stories where people purposely run over RCs.

This is why I always drive them onto my driveway/grass or right next to me when a car comes (or sometimes, I will pull it under a parked car) to make sure they can't get at it...

I wanted to, believe me lol......

As I said, its a touring car, so I could of ran across the street and picked it up, but I didnt, as now I pay the price....... I wish I would of ran it into the grass a foot away, but the curb was in my way

Where is a good place to buy replacment caps for the MM? I think i just blew mine. The esc still works fine, the servo works and all the lights work as if motor should be working but its not. I have tried several motors and it is definitly the esc.

I had to avoid a kid on a bike with my e-maxx once. He was going straight for it. I swerved to miss him and ended up under my real car. I had to jack the thing up to retrieve my e-maxx. It broke lots of stuff. I was ... unhappy.
