haha, no prob. i got them a few months ago for my project :)

only problem on my truck, is the 1/8 buggy rims rub the shocks, but 17mm mt rims work fine.. and my trucks an mt2 not a ls10, so idk if that'll be a factor.

i got my vantage 1/8th scale wheels in today (im digging the spokes) and the newera adapters should be here tomorrow, i havent bought tires yet since i not sure wether to go with the crimefighters or something else. i dont see me having any clearance issues the wheels have a TON of room compared to the 2.2 truck wheels, i could check this to make sure if you (A4DTM) could tell me how far the outside face of the buggy wheel sits from the drive pin in the axle......that would be alot of help thanks ahead of time

yea im trying to figure out how far out on the axles the wheel will sit when i get the adapters on there. so its about .55 of and inch (14mm) to the outside face of the wheel from the drive pin hole in the axle?

I don't know if I'm too late with this, but I had seen 12mm-17mm hex adapters. These were no extensions, just hexes that went over the 12mm ones. Then there are these washers that go on the outside and gets fasten with the bold.

12-17mm adapters

12-17mm adapters
Out of that list, these look like the best bet. I will give my maximizer 12-14mm adapter with the gs racing 14-17mm adapter a try and see how it does on the crt.5.

after seeing them on linc's Hyper-pede i looked and found Low Profile panther komodo dragon tires that are 5 inches tall (these are supposed to be very light and small for a truggy/Mt tire and mount on a 3.3" wheel (such as the Jammin's).Then i could get the truggy wheels in which ever offset i needed.......Lincpimp is helping me find out more on the tires and wheels.
