I dont think so. I think if you order one you should be good cuz they wont start shipping out until two weeks after so what you paying for is basically a back order and in the mean time that will be making more. Atleast from my understanding you will have 1 week to order then straight from castle creations for a cheaper price. Then after that week is up you will no longer be able to buy them from castle creations and you will have tp get them from a distributer.

Man, I am telling you this is gonna not only make my truck sick in speed. But killer in the looks dept. Glad Castle isnt going to make em green this time around. I was gonna try something else out. But I think I will just wait for the whole package. The problem I am having with just the ESC is that they said the ESC would be released with the wires already soldered in rather then the plugs. I would much rather have the plugs for sure. HV bananna plugs. Now if someone would make a 3 pronged plug like the Losi 2 pronged that holds the bananna tips. This design seems a little nicer and more acessable to handle

Bu the way. I dont know if this is actuall or not. But this is claimed to be whats inside the Monster case.

Well, First off it wasnt photgraphically or otherwise altered. That is how it came. If you notice there are 2 traxxas RC's it is in. The black one is in the new E-REVO and the Green one is in the new E-MAXX. OK, so this is how I keep coming up with the photos and Vids I find on it. Being the painter I am part of many RC websites. Plus that and I like to dabble in all different forms of RC. Its cool to see what the others are doing outside the box. I figure that since this week was the RCX show, You know there was many people taking camera's and whatnot and getting pics and Vids. I love this site and to be honest RC Monster rocks in the Electric scene. max Amps website can take a long walk on a short pire for all I care. But, I have no problem sorting out and showing what else I can find on this. It is obvious that a whole lot of us are awaiting this release. But I just so happen to be the guy who will wait for the production set to come out rather then settle fior the ESC just to satisfy my IDE! Bottom line, I can not believe that out of the half a dozen or more RC monster members, Not one person got the low down or talked face to face about the whens, hows, and whatsup with this. Yet it is all over the web on other sites. Funny thing is, This is being talked about on other websites that are Nitro websites more than here.
I personally would like to really know first hand if in fact this Green motor is the production motor to be released and when it will be released as the whole set. But if I find something else pertaining to the Mamba Monster. Ill be sure to drop it here.

Oh yeah, and I am wondering with these sitting in the Traxxas RC's Is this perhaps the begining of Traxxas and Mamba joining forces selling this as a full on RTR deal?

The black one is pre-production, and the green is much closer to what the production motor will look like. That is, the production motor will be green like that.

it would be a good idea to make the motor green so you could easily tell quickly if it is a real neu or castle neu

I'd prefer the black personally but if it goes good all will quickly be forgotten.
