He definitely needs to improve his people skills. His eccentric attitude probably cost him alot of money over the years. I never said he didnt make a profit but when you got to pay the machinest top dollar for parts to be made correctly its going to cost the buyer more in the end. His parts are made hear in the USA not china where a machinest gets $10 a day. If he had his own cnc machines I am sure parts would be alot cheaper.

I like my muggy more ALOT more but ill never sell mr gmaxx

side note: I run flextek arms if UE is not old tech why do they break/bend or not have a warranty ? and what would you do if you bent your $400 arm LOL cry and try to find a single arm ..good luck

Yeah I don't agree with everything he does but he says hes got more stuff coming... and I obviously disagree with your $20 logic.

Not sure this sentence makes any sense: "I think he purposly doesnt make more to crap on the market for cool emaxx stuff" ??

A pair of highimpact setback arms are $67. not $800

I exaggerate a tad LOL but you know what I mean. A Chinese lady could make VBS for $20 at a rate of 10 an hour and his foolio azz who pissed his machinest off by ripping him off has nada, doubt he has a patent on a "VBS" you UE lovers make some

also his machinist left years ago, all the "new" stuff you buy set backs etc are not from the original artist who crafted that stuff they are just machined arms you can get from billytrucks for 1/2 price.. food for thought

I never seen a broken or bent UE arm have you? well maybe one time when a guy hit a 4x4 fence post @ fullspeed . I am sure all the bent titanium hinge pins you replace with the flexy tech arms will add up also. Its the advaced geometry built in the racerx arm is what really makes them better, nobody has done this and spent all the time on the r&d to corect it like UE has. I rather spend alot less money on some rpm arms if you want arms that flex when you hit them. They have the same warranty ,geometry, probably lighter, probably wont bend hinge pins when they flex , and ~ 1/3 of the price. The tru- trac is the shit and the closest thing to racer x you can get. Actually I was thinking a injected molded vbs would be more affordable for the masses. We are killing this country sending all the work overseas. Unemployment is at an all time high keep the work here.

because of over priced crap. You think your machining time is worth $50 a hour, take off for the time I spend looking at it wasting my per diem. Castle makes there motors in China. wonder why. taxes 33% even for the poor

aaaaahahaha, yes my friend. it's just aluminum...which does bend. and under much less stress than you would think, too. i've sent lots and lots of parts back to robin to be replaced under his replacement program. the arms are the weakest...but yet next to the bulks they take the brunt of most crashes.

while all the UE stuff is still pretty great, it's no where near where some parts/vehicles are at now. my xt8 in stock form would STOMP my old full lightning supermaxx.

i know it's already been mentioned (and beat to absolute death), i can't even tell you how extremely tired i am of robin's pathetic rants and insane ravings. what an overly sensitive baby. it's not our fault he never patented his 'unique' designs.

What machinest charges $50 an hour all the machinest is use to build the blown 1000+hp big blocks I build charge $90-$100 an hour. My stuff always come back perfect to the .0005 of an inch. No chinaman or woman can come even clost to those specs example integy crap rd logics crap and so on. Tons of junk china parts out there. So is a china neu better than a real neu.? The price is certainly better. Is a chinese harbor freight tool better than a snap on tool ? I dont think so. may cost more but you know it will last and if it doesnt return it for a new one. Clodmaxx , I like to see your xt8 against a low cog g-4 maxx with racerx. I dont think the high cog lightning is the current best design anymore and definatly wont compete against a g-4 on a track. A g-4 when set up right handles like a truggy. I personally dont like robin changing my post on his website when I was only trying to get the truth and he changed it because he didnt like what we were talking about. A bunch of BS if you ask me.

rivermaxx, it's all good. g4's are nice too. but you owe it to yourself to drive a quality 8th scale truggy.

My cousin's Losi 8t isN'T that much better than my BL high center of gravity FLM/RPM(truetrac)/UE(mono block, Supershocks, 8s Ultralites) hybrid. With things like VBS or full RacerX I could match him. I know its alot of money. LOL when you can buy a 8t for less than VBS.

I can't wait to get Mike's low slung CD/motor mount with Slipperential.

EDIT: In red!!
