Meh- the only difference between that & a normal Neu is the shape of the can pretty much, no changes made to the way the wires exit the can, though the can is sealed better I must admit. I think your only real option at this point is to contact Neu, explain the issue & symptoms, and see what they quote you for repair; if it costs more than half the price of a new motor ( ~$140-150? ), then I wouldnt bother- you can get a Castleneu 1515 for $140 from Mike (kv rating choice is limited but there should be something suitable for you available)...
EDIT: 1515 3d = 1360kv, thats kinda low- maybe the 1512 1800kv motor would be good, if geared down, then it would have about the same torque & speed at the wheels; there are also various 1512 neu motors on sale on the neu website:
