Love the truck, is it gas powered? What kind of muffler is that? I've never seen a green one before?

Yeah bro, that's sweet nectar right there! I can tell that can has a lot of torque. Seems like it's got a very smooth throttle band. That truck handles really well too. I think my ELST2 needs lowered just a tick cuz it's a little tippy.

I had to pull the tranny tonight cuz it lost it's mesh. One of the pins on the inner shaft snapped. Not sure what else I can use to keep them from breaking? I had been hearing a brief click or nappy sound and thought it was one of my diff's starting to go. I can never remember how to "test them" without pulling them? I'm still not sure that isn't a problem or if it was in the tranny this whole time. I'm gonna fix the tranny (I run XXL gears in it btw) tomorrow and see if the noise is still there. If so I'm probl looking at a new output pinion. Can't remember what they are called, sorry. But I have multiple rebuilt diffs, and I'm short on those pinion shafts that lead to the tranny.

I also tapped the rear shock tower and chassis to take 4mm screws. I'll do the fronts later. It's very solid now. I'm just buying time before I move it all over to the XXL chassis
anyway.

I am thrilled with my setup, but I'm smelling a 1717 in my future now!

Btw .... What weight diff oil are u running? Also, do you have the Nova cups in that truck?

Great job!

J

Btw.. I've never liked running Dirt Hawgs for some reason. They are nice tires, but they just feel sorta "doggy" to me. There is a lot of surface mass on them. I still swear that the Traxxas Response Pro's were some of the best tires I've used (on my Revo). I'm a sucker for Bowties too. I also love Badlands. Those tires are just plain evil!!!

pull it apart, see how the pins or pawls or whatever engage and either jb weld them in place or use some mechanical means.

You can do it Ben!

Nothing fancy needed, just use the second gear assembly with a FOC tranny, you'll have reverse and it'll be plenty strong and light weight.
Losi makes a single speed hub thats 15.00 to simplify this.

an ultra center diff or an ultra gtp center spool fit in place of the tranny using stock driveshafts
