LRP are my favorite sensored motors. I have the x10, x11 and x12 and all great. But the C40 Hacker motors are still fav for my small cars. Spools up quicker and run cooler. They don't have the cool sound the slotted x12 has though.

What are you running the x12 in? Driving this little car is not as easy as I thought it would have been... fun, but not easy...

I use the run the x12 3.0T in my CRC genx 10 pan car. I was using 2s2p A123. I later stuck the motor in my Rustler on 2s and for fun in the CRT.5. I still have the motor in my collection.

The little cars take a bit of tuning to get it right. Another reason I like the older pan cars for the ease of tuning. Having the right body for downforce makes it easier to drive for me. They are alot of fun.

No vids. The 2s action was done with the RX8 and Luciano's ESC. In the pan car with the A123's, the esc was from Luciano as well. I didn't have the guts to run the motor with the mmpro or rspro.

Motor got pretty hot in the crt.5. It would've faired better if the rotor had a fan attached like the 2.5T motor that I have. The 2.5T was fun in the crt.5, but I popped a A123 cell(was and old and abused pack).

You probably seen the pics before.

That pan car is 10th scale and a blast to drive. Excuse the crappy pics. They are not as nice as yours.

My other old pan car are easier to drive

This my my 12th scale

A small update...

I received the body recently, painted it and got on the track on Saturday... damn, this little car can fly... I got a couple new sets of tyres too (slicks)... Sorex 28R, 30R, 32R, 36R and a set of 40Rs...
the higher the number, the harder the compound (this what i have understood from some reading)...though they made the car handle a lot better, I still have a lot work to do regarding on my driving...

I was really impressed with the performance of the car though... when the tyres heated up, it ran like it was on rails... I got a little over confident at times and pushed the car beyond its threshold...
one bad corner lead to a broken rear control arm which was relatively easy to fix the following day... Sunday i went back to the track to get some time on the asphalt, but the track was a little busy with nitro
guys practicing for a race... so i decided to wait for the track to clear before going to get my laps in... in waiting, i got a little bored, so i ran the car in the parking lot parallel to the track straights... from a
standing start, the car was fast!!! it easily overtook the nitros that were already rolling.. little did i know, the car picked up a stone and flung it on the front belt leaving a big cut across it... the belt did not get
past the first lap of my practice... so, more down time before i can get some laps...

Photos of the painted body and 'battle' scares:

Yep... they get up to speed so quickly even when the tyres are still losing grip... I did notice a big difference with down-force with the LTCR body...
it pushed the car down hard... had quite a few sparks on the straights... Can't wait to get it up an d running again...

Well... it's been a while since my last update... so here goes...

The car is proving to be a lot more fun than I originally thought as improvements are made to it... I've been reading a whole bunch of forums and articles to get a better understanding
of these little cars and with the findings there are noticeable changes in the car's performance... The most fun tip I found recently was the use of WD40 to clean and treat the tyre...
The tyre absorbs the fluid and makes it a little softer and tackier... this greatly increase the car's mechanical grip therefore significantly reducing my lap times... I am still having a few
challenges where alignment is concerned, but I will eventually acquire a setup station to help with this problem....

See update photos below...

I made a little modification to the battery hold downs to reduce forward movement of the pack during 'sudden' stops on the walls

Got some advice regarding the tweak of the car when the wires are tied to the upper deck... so i removed them.. to keep some aesthetic value, I wrapped them with wire sleeves

Since the lap times were improving, i started pushing the car a little harder... therefore this made the motor a little warmer... so I installed a little fan to keep things cool

I recently got some new Shock towers which allowed for improved Shock geometry and tuning
