Man lots of people are begging for bulkless! Soon the revos will be just as good as some of those top of the line maxxes!

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

Ive had 5 diff failures, :032: 4 ring gears loosing teeth and 1 bearing collapse causing the ring gear to loose teeth :027: That was probley down to over shimming though.
Compare that to the 18 months I ran the maxx with spyder8's with no problem at all.

Ive now fitted ali cases and housings...................so far so good.

I guess it pretty much depends on the drivestyle, our friend Daniel runs his revo without any problems.. he uses aluminium cups..

It seems that the internal gears in the diff are pretty tough.

Internals are okay, but ringgears like to go sometimes... no surprise when you land frontflips in full brake and stuff like that :026:

Syl...........its coming

Drive style and the state of our track does have alot to do with it your right.
Our track is extremely bumpy with good grip on the astro sections, couple that with with a flat out jump that see's you 14/15 foot in the air every 30 secs or so and you have a recipe to give ANY diff a good hiding. :028:
http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v2...=erevoclip.flv
now I have to run with the truggy's (the nitro monsters don't want to play anymore :005: ) so I'm always having to push hard............Its all so worth it though :027:

I actually noticed the other day that RRP has hardened diff gears for the Revo now.

Right you are!!

Cab, lemme tell ya, this track of yours is just frikkin awesome! I always had the idea of getting a track, and your story with the farmer and club and stuff sparked my motivation, and now I'm in discussion with local farmers. Want to get something going by next summer.
Thank you mate, for the inspiration!!

Well Daf, I can say the same to you about a certain Revo. Thats whats great about THIS place.

We've now got a LHS owner involved. He paid for, and built the jump (Although I now have my suspicions as to why he built it at the end of a straight :dft012: ) and he's suggested getting timing gear too.

Good luck with your venture, I'm sure you will keep us posted
