I have the Integy XL carriers, they came with the correct length shafts for the Flux lower arms.

Good to know, the atomic website shows the carriers with correct length pins in the pics, but both of mine did not come with any in the packets, and no mention of them in the instructions. Oh well.

Alsright, got some good pics of the hubs now, thanks for those guys!

On to shocks. Keep in mind this project has changed to a 19" WB MT that will likely run a set of super bolt on tires with half offset 40 series wheels. Gives me about 18" width.

So what should I use for shocks? Currently have the 8 "small bores" that came with the X SS kit. I do not mind going to other brands, but would like to keep the costs down, as I am cheap.

I will get a weight on everything tomorrow, might help with shock selection.

4 Flux shocks. Use either one of the following springs:

#86553 SHOCK SPRING 18x80x1.8mm 12.5 COILS (WHIT 159gF/mm)
#86554 SHOCK SPRING 18x80x1.8mm 11.5 COILS (YEL 177gF/mm)

Standard Flux spring is

#86551 SHOCK SPRING 18x80x1.8mm 14.5 COILS (PINK 134gF/mm)

You can pick up the Flux shocks on ebay pretty cheap; granted not as cheap as the older Savage shocks, but oh well.

Looks like the shocks will run about 10 bucks each shipped. I am guessing the stock springs will be a bit weak? I will weigh my truck and you can tell me if the white or yellow springs will be better. I plan to bash it so I am guessing the yellow will be the way to go.

Depending on weight, if you use the long plastic tube and just the one spring on each shock you may find the pink spring is fine. That's what I am using but my build is a couple hundred grams lighter than a stock Flux (about 3730gm without wheels, battery, shell).

If you use the yellow spring with the tubes it will be very stiff.

I will try just a set of the flux shocks. Maybe add thicker fluid to them. What weight is the stock fluid? Would it be a good idea to tear them down and rebuild with some green slime? If I have to dump the fluid...might as well go all they way.

I tried 40wt in FB2 but found it to be too stiff so I went back to 30wt and used green slime
