I dont think it was RCX photo thou it is the same motor shown by CC/Traxxas on their booth, I might be wrong. But I think this is how the CC Neu Motor would look like.

This Photo is for the 6S EMAXX pack of Tanic, it just feature the MMM nd CC Neu motor. I think Tanic and CC have some arrangement..CC advertise Tanic packs over their website also...

BTW, these are the packs I just ordered, cant wait to try them. I just hope MM would hold until my MMM arrives

Those batteries are not quite up the task for the used amount of current.. Even in 3P it wouldn't be sufficient.

Well, Im no expert and not an RC god so I wouldn't exactly know what amount of current needs to be drawn from battery to consider it good/better. But I know that A123 has lower current draw rating than Lipo but better than NiMH. Also this things are not like Lipo that explodes and needs LVC or their goners. I think I favor more on being safe than just a few more current draw rating with the trade off of extra care. Besides 5S2P is enough to power my EMAXX for 20-30mins and still do wheelie on demand...top speed of 35-40mph is also easily achieve

But I could be wrong...maybe others with more experience can answer you

well truck basher they are my thoughts exactly. except im running 4s2p in a buggy (well, hopefully) and some people are getting away with 6s1p! i might bump it up 2 5s2p (have 4 seperate unused batts) if its not fast enough just to try it. but 10 batteries is 700g!

how is 6s2p not enough current? they are rated at over 60C burst, for 4600mah thats 276A peak draw, at 19.8V thats nearly 5.5kw... more than enough for any RC car I think.

I run 7s1p in my e-revo and it has more than ample power on tap, runtimes are usually only 10-15min though, which isnt really too bad.

6s1p is an option, but not with a 15151Y.. That motor can easily draw 170A at 6S..

You can do 6S for a HV setup, but with a 2200Kv motor you are not aiming at a HV setup, you are aiming for a powerhungry, hard to please, beast.. these cells give a huge drop in voltage, at 30-40A load.

@sammus; their voltage isn't exactly 19.8V at 276A... More like <2V.. and that's the whole point. Try a 6S enerland based 5000pack in your revo and your powerband will be even better.

Yeah fair call... I remember now, I wanted to do that but couldn't afford it :P plus the 15min charges with a123 pretty much closed the deal for me. I'm happy with what I have, and a 6s enerland pack would be heaps better. but 7 a123 cells = $105, and the cheapest 6s 5000mah enerland based pack i can find is $236.

Well same here, the value for money fast charging and less prone to over/charge discharge... but there is no argument that 6S 5000mAh is better...but I'm cool with A123s...beside I dont race just bash around

Yeah and I totally forgot about the voltage drop thing... say they even halve in voltage, you would still have say 2.7kw = 3.6hp peak which is what the big nitro motors put out.. so its probably still acceptable I guess :P

I just recently bought a Zippy 6s 4150 pack that was $130 shipped, the R packs are thier only packs that are made from Korean made cells...so I will se how it compares to my FP.
