Update: Well the maxamps packs are very near the end of their life. Power is significantly reduced and not much fun any more. I spent the better part of a week going back and fourth on "name brand reliability" and "significantly lower cost". I was looking at the Hyperions and Thunder powers vs. Zippy or Rhino. I couldn't stomach the idea of spending $100 or so on the cheaper packs and being let down so I went for the Thunder power pro power 30C packs. I got 3S 5000mah x 2. That set me back $259. I got my first run in today............holy crap this is one bad mofo! Didn't take long to end the session as I caught my front step and took out a lower control arm

The pack size is perfect for the trays on the BL revo. Its cold here, 30's, and the packs after 10 minutes were a mere 75 degrees. I'm running a stock truck. Hope to pick up some new arms in the morning and get some more in. Any good suggestions for a power supply for feeding the chargers, my marine battery has took a crap and these big pack suck my spare lawn mower battery dry quick. Also may be looking to get the Hyperion Duo, I assume it comes highly recommended?
