I've got a gold chassis Al tub (that's the white nylon, pre-stealth Championship Edition) and a black tub converted to a "Dual Sport". Somewhere in my attic is the monster conversion for the CE chassis. It looks similiar to a Monster Beetle all put together (have one of those in the attic too. ;) ). I've thought about a nice Mamba Max system in the Dual Sport. It's got an old HPI centrifugal two speed tranny in it, and went ~35 mph + on 6 nicad cells with an old Dirtinator 10t3 7-8 years ago. 60+ would probably be a blast in it, and it's a capable rally chassis (for old tech).

Baja 5T - Castle brushless conversion, every other hop-up known to man... 8S LiPo power.

Just registered! I started R/C just under two years ago. Always wanted it as a kid but could never afford it. Now I am unleashed!

Thinking about brushless E-maxx but I think the E-Revo is the smartest way to go...soooo, reasearching brushless ESC's & motors. I don't want to make the 'growing pains' mistake when buying my first brushless like I did with batteries and charger. My mind is open and I'm ready to learn: apparently I'm at THE place; bring it on!!!

BTW, it's looking like most of us are 30-somethings, that can be good AND bad.

All men are big kids at heart; once we are earning our own money we're free to spend it on what we like- monster trucks being high on the list! Im 24, but I feel more like 60 sometimes.... the joys of adulthood & responcibilties......

I've always thought this saying was so true: "Guys never grow up, their toys just get more expensive."

I thought it was: "Boys never grow up, they only change the toys they play with!" :027:

BrianG:

Hi,

yes that saying is true. right now I'm looking for a new toy to take up some of my time...... and to replace my truck too. so far their running around 50K+ for the ones I driven in L.A.
I'll look for some when I get home..... maybe they'll be cheaper.

Thanks

Or "boys never grow up, they just get bigger & better toys." At any rate, I had tons of 'toy' rc trucks & buggies when I was a kid, but now I've moved onto the expensive variety....
