@bomb; we pay 2 times the price for cars that you guys do; we do need to pay medical insurance (320bucks for 2 persons per month) College is payed here too.. (2025 bucks per year, excluding books) 19 percent taxes in general..

And our average income isn't that high.. And we need to pay about 40%+ on our income..

But we do have got social insurance; if we can't work, we get money..

Yea, the pay is higher, but they really dont want people driving...they have excellent train systems. If I lived there I wouldnt own a car, no reason to. Where are you at Serum?

Zwolle, main city of Overijssel.

sometimes a car is needed. our train system sucks bigtime. Check your sources.. 1 hour delay is rather common. (IF they drive at all, due to strikes) I don't know where you heard that our trainsystem is flawless.. it was, (till 1995) untill the government kind of sold it.

About the high prices for cars/fuel;

The Netherlands has got the highest number of 'company cars'; it's not they don't want people driving; it is that they know most of the people need to drive and do pay any money to keep driving.

But you are not in Denmark Serum. I know the train systems, I have used them frequently, never once did I run into a problem, and I have never had one late. I went across the entire country swapping trains and never had an issue. I have heard the trains in the Netherlands arent as good, I dunno. I am sure you know Denmark has the free citibikes so people dont even have to buy a bike, they are a very "green" country and dont want vehices polution. I cant speak for Zwolle. Denmark adds a "grøn ejerafgift" (environmental) tax on top of the other taxes including VAT. After the fees you pay 100% when its all said and done. A drivers liscense is expensive as well. They promote public transit, and bicycles....they severely tax motor vehicles.....

Well, actually, not really...the Kawasaki ZX-14 (Black one on the very right) makes the Busa look like a snail. Its pretty much known as a "Busa Killer."

My dad has some mods so its pushing 200hp at the wheel - I think exact figures are like 198 (and my Mom's accord has 200 at the crank LOL!).

Also, a ZX-14 is considered the fastest mass produced motorcycle in the world.

Yea...its faster than hell. After he washed it he took it for a ride to make sure all the water was off, etc. He was going up a hill (street with incline) and when he got on he said it lit the rear tire up while he was already doing 60mph...

I think my favorite of all of them is still the R1. 200hp at the crank, an awesome sounding exhaust note, and insane handling. (Its the red one).

However...my car interests still exceed my motorcycle interests by far...if only my dad was the same way...hello M5...
