I do not know, but I do like my custom pinions and now Mike has really nice pinions as well. So why you need for REVO clutch on pinion and clutch in tranny...sounds like waste not even considering extra rotation mass.
But, not to go to far from topic, there are some cool features of the clutch which would be nice to implement in ESC software, like slipping on start and instant torque (not delay) at some RPM (over the clutch lock point...). I discussed with Mike possibility of implementing such feature into electric drivetrain and I can see how that can be implemented via software, no hardware required for that.

lol, generally no. Doing things electrically is usually much better than doing it mechanically because the variables can be programmed and more complex mechanical stuff wears out faster.
