What's_Nitro: Yes, that's an Etek motor and you betcha I'm using all 15hp it's capable of! My pocket dirt bike is based off of a 70cc frame and I can do 45mph on any surface, including up hills. It's almost scary because if you twist a hand-full of throttle from a standstill the front wheel starts to raise up.. with your feet already on the pegs!

Honestly, not really considering two factors:

a) what you get for the money
b) the general cost of hi-end RC equivalent stuff. My Neu 1515 2.5d costs 2/3 as much as this beast did!

Most people come buy Neu motors because they want the best performance available for their RC vehicles and are willing to pay the price for what they get in return. Likewise, the Etek motor is considered THE motor to have for pocket bike enthusiasts. I've already thought of trying to do a twin-motor deal in something like a four-wheeler...

if your going with a brushed motor you can use these controllers. http://www.robotcombat.com/products/...ntrollers.html

I have the thor, it's a good controller. I used it because I needed proportional brakes. But if your using mech brakes you don't need a "spin" controller.

Just found this 60v 60a ESC- http://www.astroflight.com/index.php...products_id=91

If I could get two of those and run them in parallel on 36v or possibly 48v possibilities would be endless.
