Yes ralf, you have a problem haha, and so do I. Maybe we should go see the same therapist... Candyman was also a big contributer to the start of my emaxx obsession. I remember watching the youtube vids of his clods & his emaxx & saying, that's it right there. That is where I want to be. Took me the better part of 10 years, but here I am...

It was CandyMan's "MaxxBling" that got me into the brushless side of r/c.
I love these maxx trucks.

So bit of an update for this truck, as I received a number of parts in this week. The first parts were only small, but it is the small things that always make the difference with trucks like this. I have never been a fan of the very small rod ends on the Proline Powerstroke damper shocks. An comparison shot can be seen below with the larger rod ends:
Thanks to a good friend I like to call the Powerstroke King, I now have enough of the larger rod ends to complete 2 whole sets:

Now I just gotta wait on my custom springs to be powder coated white and these shocks will be complete and ready to go on the truck. The wait continues lol.
BUT, I received my bulks and suspension parts back from a buddy who drilled & tapped the bulks, and made me up ejector pins as well. Let the building begin :-)
UE Spyder 6 diffs will be going into UE Superlite cases, and GARC 7075 bulks, G3 Gen 2 Gorillamaxx suspension arms and towers, Sweet Strobes & Centralemaxx 7075 16mm knuckles with UE Steel Pillowballs & Vivid RC bearings.

Awesome build, Sam - the rear knuckles are installed backwards, but you'll fix that when you install the turnbuckles. ;-)

Any reason not to go with aluminum rod ends on the shocks? They are readily available.

Yeah good point, I have seen mixed reviews on various aluminium rod ends. Racer's Edge are known to be awesome, 7075, but really hard to find. Then a lot of the other rod ends I have seen people report the quality to be sub par...
Do you have any advice on what is good? Would be keen to know, cheers :-)
