I lost most of my ue stuff for this reason. I went with stuff that I can get to replace.
Just so happens cheaper as well.

Peace!

Thats what American freedom is all about. Some people drive mustangs, some corvettes, and then even some who drive VW bugs. Everyone has their own choices about what products they wish to spend their hard earned money on. Some can even afford to try out many different models because our system allows for that kind of selfishness. So pick your poison and enjoy the ride no matter which model you drive. Having several companies providing us with "Hop-ups" is what makes playing with these toys so versitile in the first place. It all depends on what your interpritation of fun is. Don't be a hater, just have fun with whatever you can afford and are able to find out there.

I placed an order last Fri very early in the am and was concerned when I did not get an email confirmation. I was afraid this recent change in the amount of stock was too good to be true, but this am I rec'd the email confirming my 8mm cvds, hinge pins and steel 51t spur and etc had been shipped!

Guess UE had some orders to deal with, I know I'm getting ready to do another one!

I to have placed two seperate orders with UE for SuperMaxx parts, and they were shipped within 24 hours of placing the orders. I do believe that this is a response to the inquiries that we have all made to UE within the last two weeks as to why the stocks have been so low for so long. UE just needed to know that we as a group are still out here and that we really needed them to step up so we could continue our ventures in building one of the most celebrated RC vehicles in the business. I know that I may have hit Robin in a way that did not make him too happy with me, but the points that were made were hard to argue. Business is business, and with the numbers of RC enthusiests that I have seen desperate for UE parts add up to a lot of money, not to mention a good number of dedicated customers who really like what UE has to offer in the way of quality SuperMaxx parts.

Bottom line is that we can only hope that this change in stock is an improvement that will continue to grow and that UE will get back to business as usual. In the last three years I have only just begun to experience what they have to offer with the Lightning SuperMaxx setup. So I still have much to learn, and look forward to doing so. Just make sure that we all let UE know how much we appreciate their support. Especially when you receive the toys you order from them, and you get to play with them for the first time. They need to know.

Well how about he makes a new suspension and bulkheads for the supermaxx that would make it a 100% truggy?

It'll cost an arm and a leg, I know.

I bought my thunder chassis fall '04 and its took almost 3yrs to get it together. Now that I have some spares, I'll have more fun with it. The chassis I bought had been beat pretty hard, had a lot of stripped threads. Fortunately I'm well versed in helicoil installation. The stripped ones are now stronger than they originally were.

It going to be diff not scrounging for UE parts as seriously as I have been.

It can be done!

This is the stuff that I have been talking about. These are the comments that you guys need to post on the UE site so Robin can read them. It may seem hopeless at times, but if UE does not konw this problem exists, then why would they buck up with replacement parts. I know it can be kind of a pain, but for whatever reason that is what needs to be done in order to reach their compassion. Just stating things like you did here may wake them up. I know it frustrates me as well, but it is going to take more then just one or two people communicating with UE to make a difference. We just have to keep trying.

I got lucky and found several UE parts on EBay last year. I won one bid for a box full of stuff because one guy ran into financial problems and needed the money. Over $2500 worth of UE gear for $750 in one shot. The rest I had to order and just wait for delivery. It is up to you guys, but if I were you I would be posting and emailing Robin to let him know your thoughts in a dignified manner. Good luck gentlemen.

I exchanged several emails with Robin concerning this issue just to share with him that he has a lot of people out here that are feeling desperate for the UE SuperMaxx line of products and he has also received a several notes from others as well. I think that he finally realized that it was time to catch up on stocks for our benefit. Plus it is another money maker for UE in general (win win). From what we have all seen in the last two weeks I think UE is trying to get stocks back into the 100% full range. Congrats and a heartfelt thank you to everyone who jumped in with their comments to Robin and Sam. Just don't stop there and keep letting them know how much we appreciate what they supply us with.
