Just a little additional information to pass along here.

I got a chance several days ago to run this with a couple of buddies of mine.

One of my friends had a stock E maxx 3905.
The other had a T maxx 2.5.

This of course pretty much smoked the stock E maxx, but to my surprise it also outran the T maxx.

It took the T maxx pretty badly on acceleration, but would also outrun it on top end. At least for the first half of the pack.

During the last half of the pack, top end was a VERY close match. I could still out accelerate him though.

It is always nice when our elecronic monsters can hand the head of a nitro want-a-be me in a face to face match up. That project of yours has been quite an imspiration on here Sikes. We all wish that rewinding a motor like that was easier for all of us to do. You sure put a lot of work into that motor and getting that truck setup the way you have it now.

Good work in kicking T-Maxx butt.

Thank you Jerry!

This is a stock "out of the box" AXI 2826/8. I didn't rewind this one or pull any special tricks to make it work.

Only thing, Mod 1 Gears! 22 tooth RCM pinion on the motor and a Revo 40 tooth Mod 1 Spur gear.

Did someone say this AXI 2826/10 looks a little small for the Maxx?

These Vids were made running a 4S Lipo setup. 15C Firepower 4000mah packs. They give me about 25 minutes runtime.

As you can see, it's VERY torquey! There's still plenty of room for another gear!

Using Mod1 Gears, a 40 tooth Revo Spur and a RCM 22tooth Mod1 pinion, she gets around pretty good. The New E maxx is tough.

Here is what's under the hood!

nice one!! whats the total weight without the batteries?
