NeuEnergy Batteries, a discussion - 02.25.2008, 12:33 PM

I am looking into trying some new batteries, and see the NeuEnergy ones and I am curious how good they are for the price.

Few initial questions:

1. What are the dimensions of the NeuEnergy 25C 5000mah 14.8V lipo battery?

2. What balance connector does the NeuEnergy 25C 5000mah 14.8V battery come with? (hyperion, align, etc)

3. What brand of cells are in Neu Energy Packs?

Thats it so far.

Dimensions are 36X45X165, the balance connector and brand are answered, along with the dimensions, in the neu dimensions thread, just search it.

The brand is neu, as in neu motors... www.neumotors.com

The taps are Kokam taps. If you happen to have a Hyperion balancer, you can use this tap adapter:

Also, I'm not sure exactly what cells they are. Some folks have said they are Enerland, but I don't know that anyone but Neu knows that for sure.

I believe the cells are enerland from the previous discussions we've had. One thing is for sure though, these are exceptional batteries.

Thanks for the info guys. Anyone know who has these batteries in stock? The price is very good for the money, assuming the performance is up to enerland snuff.
